Hummus Hummus is one of the most popular dishes to come out of the Mediterranean and Middle East regions. We make our hummus fresh daily from garbanzo beans (chickpeas) and tahini sauce (sesame seed paste), with garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. At NETO, we mix it and serve it with a variety of traditional toppings, from ful (crushed fava beans) to sautéed mushrooms and onions. Traditionally, hummus is scooped up with pita and shared around the table.
